Tomato "Kotlas".
Legendary cold tolerance!
An early-ripening (85-100 days) variety, perfectly adapted for zones with unstable farming conditions. Thanks to its hardiness, it is suitable even for direct sowing into the ground (seedless cultivation).
Characteristics:
* Plant: Compact, determinate (45-60 cm high), with medium foliage. Leaves are of the special "potato" type. Requires only moderate pruning.
* Fruits: Classic, round or flat-round, bright red. Weight 50-70 g. The flesh is dense, but juicy and very tasty.
* Harvest: Early and uniform harvest allows gathering fruits before the onset of late blight.

Variety Value:
1. Hardiness: The variety is not sensitive to cold and tolerates temperature fluctuations excellently.
2. Storage: Has excellent shelf-life characteristics.
3. Versatility: Suitable for salads, pickling, and processing.

HISTORICAL REFERENCE:
The variety originates from Russia and was originally called "Sprint". It was later renamed by the famous American seed company Johnny’s Seeds in honor of the northern Russian city of Kotlas to emphasize its exceptional cold resistance.
